It’s been a few months since I’ve gotten some new makeup so yesterday, my sweet mom took me out and bought me some pretty new things. (Thanks, Mom! I love you so much!) All of my new products have such gorgeous packaging and I can’t wait to try them all out!
First, I got some of Essie’s gel nail polish. This is the only product I’ve tried so far, out of everything I got and let me tell you, I am loving it! Although I haven’t developed a full opinion, since I just got it, my opinion so far is that it’s amazing! The polish glided on so easy for me and it hasn’t budged one bit. I put it on last night and normally by now, at least one of my nails starts to chip. But not with this polish! If it ends up being a winner, I will definitely talk about it on my Instagram, so be sure you are following me on there!
Now onto, the cute shades I got!
First, of course, I got the Essie Gel Top Coat. It’s just a clear polish to make sure the gel color stays put! This one, along with all of the nail colors are $11.50 each.
The first shade I got is a beautiful baby pink called Wearing Hue. I love wearing pastels especially in the spring, so I thought this shade looked so pretty! This is actually the shade I tried out last night and it’s stunning! It reminds me of the tulle skirt I wore when I did ballet when I was little! It is very subtle and gives me so many feminine, blushy, springtime vibes.
Next to pale pink, pale blue is my favorite color, so I couldn’t pass this one up. This shade is called Perfect Posture and looks like the perfect Cinderella/Alice in Wonderland color. I think the name really fits with Cinderella because she is always so prim and proper, whereas Alice is quirky and sassy hehe! Although I haven’t tried it out yet, I’m sure this will look just as pretty as the pink!
Onto makeup, I got two gorgeous new products.
First, I got the NYX Born to Glow! Liquid Illuminator in “Sunbeam.” I saw this featured on a blog post plus I’ve been out of primer for a while now, so I thought “why not try a new product for an affordable price?” I tested some on the back of my hand and it looks so dewy and glowy, perfect for springtime!
Too Faced has the prettiest packaging ever and is hands down, my favorite beauty brand. I don’t have very many pink lipsticks, surprisingly (I’m not sure why. I guess I tend to reach for nudes) and decided to try out this one. Not only did the pretty pink packaging draw me in, but also the shade is called Peony, which is my favorite flower! I think it was meant to be!
Thanks again, Mom for taking me out! I am forever grateful to have such a sweet mom like her!
Let me know if you’ve used any of these products or what your latest beauty purchases are!
