A Pink & Magical 18th Birthday

This past Friday was my 18th birthday and honestly, it was one of my favorite birthdays ever. It was a pretty hectic day, but it was full of so many magical memories. The day started not according to plan. If you didn’t know, my little kitty just had surgery last weekend, and long story short, she had a little incident so we had to rush her to the emergency vet. Luckily, she was okay, but it was a crazy start to the day. On the way home from the vet, we stopped for yummy breakfast at Burger King and I drowned myself in french toast sticks! Then, I came home to a little surprise from my sister: pink streamers hung all around the kitchen.

After breakfast and a quick little nap, my sweet mom surprised me with balloons, a cake, and flowers. I love her so much and wasn’t expecting that at all!

A little bit later, I decided to treat myself to a little makeup shopping. As I walked into Ulta, I found out that they were having a Too Faced event, that day only, which was a total coincidence since Too Faced is my favorite beauty brand ever! It was such a wonderful birthday surprise! So, I picked up the gorgeous Chocolate Bon Bons palette, which I have been eyeing for so long, for half off! I also picked up some sweet-smelling bath products including some pink, sparkly bubble bars and bubble bath that’s vanilla buttercream-scented and makes me feel like a cupcake!

Once I came home, I made some yummy pink and white chocolate-covered strawberries and decorated them with lots of pretty sprinkles. Making these were so relaxing and I found it very therapeutic. I definitely think I will start making these regularly. My mom and I also blew up more pink and white balloons and tied gorgeous satin ribbon around them, to set the mood.

I then put together this gorgeous spread, with all of my gifts, treats, makeup, flowers, and balloons, and did a beautiful little photo shoot to capture the magic behind my day.

After, some friends came over and we had the best time, eating pizza, cake, and the strawberries, which were completely gone within 5 minutes hehe.

I actually didn’t open my gifts until the day after, and they did not disappoint. I plan on making a full haul video of everything I got on my YouTube channel, which should be up within the next few days so make sure you are subscribed here.

But in short, I got lots of makeup, jewelry, planner stickers, pajamas, and a new purse!

Overall, my special day was filled with friends, yummy treats, pastels, bows, and so much more! It was a birthday I will never forget and I am so grateful that I had such a beautiful, happy day.

Also, I am visiting Walt Disney World in just a few days so make sure you are following me on Instagram to see all of my magical, princess-y adventures!

Until next time,
